In fact, there is still a way to connect domain names to dynamic IPs, as follows (assuming your domain name is xinnet.com in this example):

Step 1, apply for a free dynamic domain name resolution service.

Step 2, manage your own domain name: enter the domain name mydns resolution management interface, and add an alias for the domain name www.xinnet.com to the free secondary domain name obtained in step 1.

Tips: The second-level domain name resolution method of xinnet.com is the same as www.xinnet.com, and you can even set up a wildcard domain name resolution to resolve all second-level domain names at once; but xinnet.com without www cannot use the alias function, so you can only set up xinnet.com to forward to www.xinnet.com.

It is worth noting that with the rapid development of technologies such as virtual hosts and corporate email in recent years, on the one hand, the price has reached a very reasonable low price, and the annual cost of a virtual host is even less than the electricity cost of your self-built server;

On the other hand, security has also been greatly improved, and the security of professional virtual hosts is definitely much higher than that of self-built servers;

On the other hand, with the resolution of security issues, the limitations of virtual host functions have gradually been reduced to a level that almost does not affect user use. So unless you are doing technical testing, it is completely unnecessary to provide services with your own home computer and domain name dynamic resolution.
