When purchasing proxy IPs, many people will ask what the availability rate of proxy IPs is. The availability rate of proxy IPs of most service providers is above 90%. Many people will have such doubts: Is there a proxy IP pool with 100% availability?

If there is really a proxy IP pool with 100% availability, then it is necessary to ensure that each proxy IP in the proxy IP pool is available. This situation is basically impossible, because in different network environments and different business scenarios, it may not be possible to connect.

To give a very simple example, the same proxy IP, among hundreds of cities across the country, there will always be a few cities that cannot be connected. This is because of communication problems between different network nodes; the same website cannot be guaranteed to be accessible across the country because there are resolution problems.

The proxy IPs in the proxy IP pool are from all over the country. Since there is no way to guarantee that the network of a certain city can connect to proxy IPs across the country, there is no way to guarantee that the availability rate of the proxy IP reaches 100%; the proxy IP cannot guarantee that it can access all websites, so naturally there is no way to guarantee that the availability rate of the proxy IP reaches 100%.

Even well-known broadband operators such as China Telecom and China Unicom cannot guarantee that all websites can be accessed without any problems. There will be slow or even no network from time to time. Therefore, it is unrealistic to require a 100% availability rate for proxy IPs. Of course, we can require the success rate of proxy IPs to be as high as possible.
